Cali Agents
How the West was One Default Title
Coalmine Records, 2 X purple, black and gray smoke marble Colored Vinyl LP Album
Just in time for the 25th anniversary release of Cali Agents’ debut LP, How The West Was
One, Coalmine Reissues in partnership with Pockets Linted Entertainment is pleased to
announce their special edition reissue. This pressing marks just the second time the
album’s ever been repressed, over 21 years removed from the alternate cover edition circa 2003. Released as collaborative effort between West Coast lyricists Rasco and Planet Asia, the album falls on the heels of the duo’s subsequent solo efforts; Rasco who released his debut LP, Time Waits for No Man in 1998 via Stones Throw, and PA’s self-titled debut that dropped the following year. Standing at 16 tracks – including the bonus track, “Point Blank Range” -- the album flawlessly complements each emcee’s rhyme styles. Where on the one hand, Rasco personifies the seasoned rap veteran armed with his baritone flow and no-nonsense rhyme
